The 11 member Jamaica Squash Association  senior team is now completing the individual round of the 22nd Senior Caribbean Area Squash Association (CASA) Championships, being held in Barbados, from August 16 – 23, 2014. Four-time Senior Individual Male CASA Champion, Jamaica’s Chris Binnie, is a strong contender for the title on a fifth occasion. The winner of the finals for the individual events will be determined today, Monday, August 18.

Jamaica is also a strong contender in the team element of the Championships, which starts on Tuesday, August 19 and concludes on Saturday, August 23. With captain Bruce Levy in charge, the team of six men and five women is aiming to improve on their performance in 2013 and win the CASA Men’s Team competition this time around.

JN General Insurance, sponsors of the local team’s uniforms, made a presentation to the Jamaica Squash Team at the Liguanea Club on April 14, last week.
